An IFRS audit of financial statements is a form of attestation in which the auditor issues a written report expressing an opinion about whether the financial statements are in material conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. We prepare financial statements using various accounting frameworks including IFRS, ASPE, and ASNPO.
A review engagement is conducted to provide limited assurance that there are no material modifications that should be made to the financial statements for them to be in conformity with the financial reporting framework.
